Dewey's Books Challenge

I'm not doing too many reading challenges this year. I realize that I am TERRIBLE at them. My reading plate is already overflowing, but this is one challenge that I want to be a part of--and it helps that Dewey read and reviewed a lot of great books.

There's a blog set up dedicated to this challenge here. I'm taking the option of reading and reviewing five books that Dewey read and reviewed. Luckily, Dewey read and reviewed a lot of books that look good, and some I already own. ;)

My List:
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Our Lady of the Forest by David Guterson
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
A Summer Affair by Elin Hilderbrand
Life as We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer

Um, I think that's all I have to do...so I look forward to joining in the community spirit that Dewey nurtured and keeping her memory alive through participation in this challenge.

I really enjoyed both A Thousand Splendid Suns and Life As We Knew It.

Hope you do too! :)

*A Thousand Splendid Suns* is a phenomenal book! As intense as *The Kite Runner*, but with female lead characters.

I'll be joining this challenge, too ... as long as I don't have to choose my books today :)
