I have made a couple Resolutions over the past few years that have worked out.

One, use less profanity. This was my BIG ONE before Sam was born. Can't have the little one learning stuff like that! It really made me realize that my vocabulary is better than to resort to vulgar language, and that makes me a better person (I think, so). Knowing that I'd be helping myself and others (mostly my son) made it more important to stick to it.

Two, to be MORE organized than I was the year before. I am better. It takes little baby steps for some of us. I don't have to scramble to find insurance documents or tax documents, cos I'm more organized and file them always in a certain place. Recipes, on the other hand, are scattered all over. I'm focusing on recipes, this year.

Not major stuff, but it IS a start.

Jen,

You are an inspiration. I made my New Year's Resolution to be something that I could actually imagine myself doing this year, and I think that's part of the key for me. Instead of, become completely different person! It's more like, take this one step to be something you wish you were.

Good luck with organizing those recipes!
