The Ten Commandments of Driving

The Vatican has issued the ten commandments of driving, apparently. I'm not sure if the use of ten commandments was to be cute or what exactly. But I would like everyone in the world to pay close attention.

I find this one to be very important.
"Cars shall not be for you an expression of power and domination, and an occasion of sin."

I also find it hard. After all, when I stopped as the light was turning from yellow to red on a left hand turn this morning, the car behind me went around me and turned anyway. It was hard not to feel intense frustration and fantasize about laying on the horn and screaming out the window. (I obviously have some sort of sickness) But I refrained, of course.

What's the craziest thing you've seen on the road lately?

Well, I didn't actually see it, but a few weeks ago my daughter was run off the road by a tractor-trailer, which kept on going and didn't stop to help her.

She was very shaken by the near-death experience she had. She ended up traveling head-on into oncoming traffic, on a busy day, but didn't hit any other vehicles.

In the end, her car was totaled (apparently damage to the frame or suspension from the ditch or median, since it didn't look that bad on the outside), but she was fine -- completely unscratched.

Oh what I would do for southern California drivers again. South florida has the worst drivers in the world. People here often make a left hand turn on a red arrow if there is no cars coming, I mean they act like a red light is a yield sign. About the question you asked me about the mission field, email me and we will talk, in short the answer is yes, Pakastan. shawnbashor@hotmail.com

Chaotic Hammer!

Are you serious? That's awful! I'm so glad she's ok. I had a hit and run once, but it wasn't as awful as that. But I understand the tremendous feeling of violation.
I hope she has good insurance?

Shawn...email sent. Thank God I'm not in Florida!
