TV Meme!

I saw this on Stacy's site (like a month ago) and swiped it!

1. Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice: Felicity, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
2. Name a show you can’t miss: LOST
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show: Jason Dohring (pretty much any actor who's character I loved on another show)
4. Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show: I can't think of anyone I dislike that much
5. Name a show you can, and do, quote from: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, LOST, Gossip Girl
6. Name a show you like that no one else enjoys: the great thing about the internet is that you can always find someone else who likes what you do. But...Pushing Daisies is one that not a lot of real life friends liked.
7. Name a TV show which you’ve been known to sing the theme song: TV Shows don't have theme songs anymore
8. Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch: The Closer (did anyone else watch last week---one of the best episodes of any television series ever! It's such an amazing show, always keeps it fresh)
9. Name a TV series you own: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Felicity, Angel, LOST, Veronica Mars, 24, Mad Men, and more...I own a lot of TV. I recently bought the entire series of the Wire when it was on sale on Amazon.
10. Name an actor who launched his/her entertainment career in another medium, but has surprised you with his/her acting choices in television: I almost don't even get this question. I can't think of anyone.
11. What is your favourite episode of your favourite series? "The Constant"--LOST
12. Name a show you keep meaning to watch, but you just haven’t gotten around to yet: Six Feet Under
13. Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad? I have given up several this season, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, Heroes, etc.
14. Name a show that’s made you cry multiple times: Cold Case...oh my gosh like all the time!!!!! It's the saddest show ever!
15. What do you eat when you watch TV? um, dinner? Popcorn sometimes.
16. How often do you watch TV? While I turn it on every night, I am usually blogging or cleaning or something at the same time unless it's a show I love, like LOST or Gossip Girl
17. What’s the last TV show you watched? The Closer
18. What’s your favourite/preferred genre of TV? Drama with a hint of sci-fi or fantasy
19. What was the first TV show you were obsessed with? Buffy the Vampire Slayer
20. What TV show do you wish you never watched? Some of those sit-coms that are on are total crap
21. What’s the weirdest show you enjoyed? Pushing Daisies?
22. What TV show scared you the most? I can't think of anything really scary, but the X-Files did creep me out from time to time
23. What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched? I don't watch much comedy.

I added question 24
24) What show was cancelled too early? Wonderfalls!!!! It was such a cute, funny, quirky, fantastic and creative show that only had 13 episodes. :( If you've never seen it, you should definitely netflix it ASAP!

I don't watch enough TV to do this meme.

Oooooh I might have to do this one (if i remember!) I love Felicity too! You must watch Six Feet Under immediately!

Amy, you're too young to remember the Twilight Zone, or it would have been your answer to #22. When I was a kid, I avoided looking out a window to our roof at night -- for about two years! -- because I had been scared to death by one episode.

I own all ten seasons of Friends -- it's my destressing go to.

Cold Case always makes me cry too.

Obviously I love Lost and The Constant is one of my fave eps too!

Firefly was cancelled too early - and Arrested Development.

Have you tried Battlestar yet? A lot of my friends who enjoy Joss stuff enjoy that one with us too. We're on the final 5 episodes but it's great to watch on DVD - they are horrible about cliff hangers!

Wheeeeee I did it!

Nice list! Every episode more than once of Buffy?

I've never seen Cold Case before, but surprised that's what made your list of what makes your cry.

This is a great meme. I'll totally play along. Thanks for the post.

By the way -- I get the Veronica Mars theme song stuck in my head All The Time!

Kathy...you're a good one! More books, less tv. :)

Alea...I know, I need to!

Dave..I've seen a few episodes of the Twilight Zone...you're right, it's creepy!

Meg..Friends is a fun one!

Lenore...glad to know I'm not alone! :) I haven't watched Arrested Development, but you're right about Firefly.

Colin..you know, I haven't? I actually bought it dirt cheap awhile back and it's sitting alongside Six Feet Under waiting to be watched...should I bump it up?

Stacy..I haven't. I want to, but I heard about the infamous cliffhangers and thought I'd wait till it's all available for consumption on DVD! Thanks for commenting btw!

Alea...you are so funny!

RC...it's an obsession. :) Cold Case really knows how to play your emotions!

TexasRed...thanks for stopping by!

I love this meme! I've thought about Netflixing Wonderfalls, but I was wondering if it had a resolution to it, or if I'd just end up mad and upset when it ended. :)

Wow! you really do love Buffy. I stopped watching Heroes, but got sucked back in by the previews. Althought I must say, I am going to start eliminating some shows, becasue I just can't find the time. You should try Damages. Glenn Close is amazing.

For #10, you could always put Billy Ray Cyrus. :-)

My answer to #24 would be "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." When it was on, it was my favorite show, behind "The Simpsons."

Arrested Development is great. You should watch it. I don't watch much TV, but a friend let me borrow his box set of AD last year, and I loved it.

I blog and watch TV all the time. My husband can't stand it!

Carrie: Yes! Wonderfalls does come to a resolution. It think only four episodes actually aired. Which is too bad, b/c like I said...it was fantastic.

Jenny: Yes, yes I do! :) I like Damages, too, though I think Rose Byrne needs to eat a little more.

Stephen: ah, good one, Billy Ray ;) I never saw Studio 60 nor do I watch the Simpsons often. :) I'll try to watch AD sometime. I think you are part of that elusive male demographic I'm always hearing about. :)

Ti: the joys of being single...no one to drive crazy.

Amy, Six Feet Under is among my all-time favorite shows. I cried when it ended. Sadly, I don't watch enough TV to do this meme ...
