BBAW Guest: Author Min Jin Lee + Giveaway

WHY I AM GRATEFUL TO BOOK BLOGGERS:

1. You found time to read my 560 (!) page book.

2. You asked me thoughtful Questions then posted my nutty Answers on your perfectly good sites.

3. You shared your hard-earned reputation with an unknown writer.

4. You did not put me down for taking 12 years to publish a first novel.

5. You never asked for anything.

You amaze me.

Thank you,

Min Jin

The first review I posted on my blog was for Fragile Things, by Neil Gaiman. I got it published in the Star-Ledger too. Very exciting to actually work as a book reviewer as well as a book blogger!

The first book I reviewed was A Girl Named Zippy by Haven Kimmel. I absolutely enjoyed reading it. Another thing I love about this post is that it shows me how far I've come as a reviewer. I would write that up much differently now, but I love to look back at the woman who wrote it the way it is. Great contest!!!!!

What use is having a Book Bloggers Appreciation Week when Book bloggers from outside of US or Canada are debarred from most giveaways?

So what s really being appreciated here?

I feel that all of us irrespective of where we live, make this community moving. I for one voted blogs/bloggers without any consideation of their geographical placements.

Next time onwards, I think I will stay away.
