Faith'n' Fiction Saturday: Your Recommended Holiday Lists

Welcome to Faith'n'Fiction Saturday! First time here? Read this post to learn everything you need to know.

Today's topic is simple. What is on your recommended holiday gift buying list? A particular book you think everyone should read? A translation of the Bible you've found helpful? Even a new Christian CD is appropriate. Just let us know what you think is worth putting down your hard earned cash for this Christmas. This is not your best of list, we'll do that in a couple of weeks!

The best book I read this year was David Dark's The Sacredness of Questioning Everything, so I'm planning on buying a box of books from David next week and giving a copy to everyone on my list. I like books like this that not only are ones I think others should read, but that will also tell my friends and family something about myself.

I'm a Chris Tomlin fan myself so I'd get his Christmas music. Or Relient K. Do they have a new one out this year? I love them for squeaky clean Christmas music.

I didnt make the post, too much going on but I did want to mention what I would have posted for sure was the Archaeological Study Bible. I love mine! It has pictures and maps of how areas look today as well as artifacts. I can really get lost in this Bible.
