I didn't know if we would make it, but we did! The Book Blogger Appreciation Week blog is live, and taking registrations. And once everything is tweaked, we'll be taking nominations, too!
Book Blogger Appreciation Week (from here on out to be known as BBAW) was started last year as an effort to appreciate the fabulous community of hard working bloggers (who love books as much as I do!) that I adore. It's really just a week to celebrate our very diverse and exciting community and get to know each other even better.
This year, BBAW has its own blog. This will hopefully make things easier to follow, no more mass emails from me! But, of course, if you want the behind the scenes scoop on how things are progressing, this is the place to be. ;) Please be patient with us as we get the blog fully functional as well.
BBAW season means three things to me: 1) No Sleep 2) Less Reading 3) Lots and lots and lots of fun!

Hi, Amy! I'm excited for the 2nd BBAW, but I actually stopped by to recommend a TV show to you. On Sci-Fi Tuesday nights is Warehouse 13. Since you are a big Supernatural fan, I thought you might like to try it out. BTW, I'm almost done with Season 1 of Supernatural and still can't decide if I'm a Dean or Sam girl.

Amy I am considering running an Appreciation contest during the BBAW. Still tweaking that in my head. If you have any ideas as I was not around last year to see how this all lays out, I would be happy to hear your suggestions to make it tie in well.

I am so excited for BBAW, Amy! This is my first year blogging, you know, and I have heard so much about last year's BBAW. I went to the site and registered and then took a look at the awards. Oh my! So many blogs to choose from, right? But luckily a lot of awards, too. It will be difficult to choose just one for each category! I think a couple of my faves fall under one category at first glance. I think I will print out the form and fill it out as I go through the blogs in the next couple of weeks. Great, great idea. Oh, and I put the button up on my blog, too!
You've done such a great job with this! I'm really excited for this year's BBAW; I'd just started blogging during last year's events, so I didn't participate very much. I'm looking forward to combing through my feed reader and figuring out what I'd like to nominate. :)
