Hello, my name is Amy and I have a problem.
A serious problem, called not enough time to do everything I want. Or for that matter--need to do.
My plate is not full, it's overflowing.
So this weekend I'm joining in the Bloggiesta! If I'm being completely honest, I already spend a significant amount of time on blogging things each weekend. But this weekend, everyone else will be, too!
My goal is to spend 8 hours on blogging duties this weekend.
Here are some of the things I'd like to accomplish:
Review catch-up--There are only 3 pending reviews I need to write, and this is only because I've been flat out exhausted this week. I normally write my reviews immediately.
Figure out some top secret things I need to figure out for an event I plan to host in the next couple of weeks. This is really vague, but it mostly has to do with figuring out if I can use a program on this blog.
Solicit guest posts for the Saturdays in the Nook feature that has been silent for several months at The Friendly Book Nook. Authors if you're reading, contact me!
Finalize panels for BBAW Awards and get nominations ready to go.
Finish up indexing this blog.
Sign up for IndieBound affiliate program and figure out a low hassle way to link to places to purchase books.
Determine winners for giveaways....this is long overdue, I apologize.
Email review links to concerned persons
And if I still have time or alternates,
Work on my blogging facebook account.
Update LibraryThing
Make Twitter background pages for the BBAW twitter account and Books4holidays
Write a few discussion posts and BEA posts
Work on a few other BBAW related tasks including promotion, themes, and tech.
Work on SoCal Book bloggers meet-up (which btw, just got ten times cooler yesterday...can't wait to tell you!)
Think I'll get it all done?

Good Lord. I don't know how you have time to actually work!! That's a lot of stuff to do. I would love to Bloggietsa with the lot of you. But I'm getting my kids off to their grandparents for the next week, and I'm working double shifts this whole weekend. Gotta pay those bills!!

You know why I can't do this Bloggiesta despite the cute icon? Because I have to catch up on reading! I have not a single review I could write, and though my tags need cleaning up, getting some books read is my prio this weekend. Hope you'll get a lot done though!

I'm also very interested in this top-secret project, but the real reason that I'm writing is to say something about linking. I'm not totally sure where all you want to link, but I link to Powells, Indiebound, and Amazon and I have a system that makes it go quite quickly (Natasha gave me the tools to figure this out). Gmail or Twitter me if you want me to email it over.

Yay, you have loads on your list too! LOL
I've probably said this in response to most of the Bloggiesta kick off posts but my list is so long I realize I won't possibly get it all done. Realistically speaking if I get 1/3 done I'll feel accomplished. Then with the remainder of the tasks at least I'll be somewhat organized to move forward after this weekend.
