Book Giveaway: If Tomorrow Never Comes by Marlo Schalesky

About the Book: Childhood sweethearts Kinna and Jimmy Henley had simple dreams—marriage, children, a house by the sea… Everything they needed for happily ever after. What they didn’t plan on was years of infertility, stealing those dreams, crushing their hopes.

Now, all that’s left is the memory of young love, and the desperate need for a child to erase the pain. Until…

When Kinna rescues an elderly woman from the sea, the threads of the past, present, and future weave together to reveal the wonder of one final hope. One final chance to follow not their dreams, but God’s plan.

Can they embrace the redemptive power of love before it’s too late? Or will their love be washed away like the castles they once built upon the sand?

I have one copy of this book to give away. If you are interested leave me a comment and tell me about one of your favorite fictional couples. You might also want to read Kim's review here. You can also read an author interview here. Open worldwide. Winner will be announced April 4th in the weekly review.

Hi! I've never really read anything like this. But it sounds interesting - one of the reasons being my own sister's problems getting pregnant. (All is well now, and she and her husband are proud parents of twins, a boy and a girl).
My favorite fictional couple is an unconventional pair, Dag and Fawn. They are the lead characters in Lois McMaster Bujold's The Sharing Knife-series. I'm currently reading the last part and loving them even more. I think I have found my favorite books of all time.

This book sounds very interesting.

My favourite fictional couple would be Luke and Laura from General Hospital. I was amazed at their relationship when I was a teen and it has stuck with me all of these years.

Thanks, I'd love to read this book!

Sounds like a great book. My favorite fictional couple _ that's a hard one. I really enjoy reading a lot of different books. So I would have to pick: Rhett and Scarlett. The book brings me to tears every time>

Oooh love the sound of this book. :)

My favorite couple is definitely Rhett and Scarlett. The tension between them is fantastic. At the same time, I fell inlove with how much he loved her throughout it all. And let's be serious - Clark Gable is eye candy in the movie. :)

One of my favorite fictional couples...hmmm, I guess I'll go with Edward and Bella from the Twilight series. Yes, the series is flawed, and they both have rather annoying traits, but doesn't everyone? The romance itself is really rather sweet.

First of all, let me say that Janet has taken the couple that would be my first choice: Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe. I have read these books and watched the DVDs several times, and will undoubtedly do so again.

Now I'll go to the opposite extreme and pick Meggie Cleary and Father Ralph de Bricassart from The Thorn Birds. I don't usually like long books, especially tragedies, but this story captured my imagination from the beginning.

Thank you for the chance to win Marlo's book.

Oddly enough the fictional couple that first comes to mind is Buttercup and Wesley from the Princess Bride by William Goldman. My daughter was fixated on the movie as a child, so we all heard it(as opposed to actually viewing) it dozens, perhaps hundreds of times. It is the fairy tale version of the essence of True Love! If Tomorrow Never Comes sounds like a special story that I would very much enjoy.

I would love to win this book. I have always wanted to live by the ocean. I guess one of my favorite fictional couples is the husband and wife in Diane Mott Davidson's mystery series. She has a horrible ex-husband. Her new husband, a policeman, is caring and loving and fun. Thank you for considering me.
