This weekend I went up to Big Bear for woman's conference with a few friends from church. Here are some highlights:
* Baby Ben got carsick on the way up the mountain.
* We got there late so we ended up sitting in the sun.
* The messages were good and made me thankful to know Jesus.
* It started to hail halfway through and then pour rain. (please note: only in Southern California would all the ladies get really excited about this, considering the event was outdoors--rain is such a novelty here)
* I got carsick on the way down!
I was totally and completely exhausted by the end. What's a highlight from your weekend?

I am sorry to hear about the car sickness thing. That is one reason why I dislike riding in the back of the car. If it is going to be a long trip, I need to find a way to fall asleep or I will be in trouble in a couple of hours.
I guess that best part of the weekend was attending church on Saturday. Last Saturdays’ sermon was probably the best sermon in months.

Sorry, you weren't feeling well! But glad the weekend had some good points! My weekend involved driving! Saturday I drove from Toccoa to Greensboro, N.C. I stayed the night at Grandma's house and then drove the rest of the way on Sunday. I am very thankful my car made it!! It's at the stage were I think it's going to just quit at any moment! Oh well, it works for the moment.
Thomas, what was the sermon about? I hate riding in the back of cars as well....ugh.
Lisa, I feel the EXACT same way about my car. Everyday I thank God that it's still running!
