Yesterday, I was asking one my students what the book she had taken home for independent reading was about.
With a lot of enthusiasm, she told me it was about Babe Ruth. She was really excited about it, because all she had known before about Babe Ruth was the candy bar.
"It's really interesting, you know," she said. "He was the first baseball player to get his name in a frame."
I looked at her puzzled. "His name in a frame?"
"Yeah, the first one to get his name in the hall of frame."
