I'm so excited to tell you that there WILL be a third Book Blogger Appreciation Week! It will be September 13-17, 2010! What is Book Blogger Appreciation Week you ask? It's an online festival celebrating book bloggers! This will be the third year running and because Book Blogger Appreciation Week is a mouthful, we affectionately call it BBAW.
Registration is open today. The awards are completely different this year and it is the sincere hope that the new process will be embraced by book bloggers. You must register yourself for award consideration.
I have a fantastic executive board helping me this year...I am ecstatic that these ladies agreed to help out, since they are removing themselves from consideration for the awards by doing so, and in my humble opinion, they all have blogs that deserve awards! Candace of Beth Fish Reads, Ann of Books on the Nightstand, Katie of Babbling About Books and More, Dawn of She Is Too Fond of Books, Jennifer of Literate Housewife, and Nicole of Linus's Blanket are all working behind the scenes to coordinate volunteers, make plans, and ensure BBAW runs as smoothly as possible.
Are you a book blogger? You are invited to participate in BBAW and I really really hope you will! Don't be shy if this is your first year! It's loads of fun and it's meant for you, too!
Because the awards process is so different and might seem a little bit confusing, Nicole will be hosting a special That's How I Blog Tuesday June 8th at 10 PM EST/7 PM PST where you can ask questions for clarification.
