The Sunday Salon BBAW Eve

I'm so excited for BBAW this week! I hope that everyone participating has cancelled all their life plans so they can stay glued to the computer...we have so much planned! Of course there's the daily blogging topic where you can go blog hop and meet new friends, there will be some special guest posts from authors and bloggers, there are games planned to coincide with some awesome giveaways...and on Wednesday night there will be a special Blog Talk Radio hosted by Miriam Parker of Hachette featuring myself (how exciting), Natasha of Maw Books, Kathy of Bermuda Onion, Kate of Babbling About Books and More, and Adam of Letters on Pages!

Plus this week, and this has nothing to do with BBAW, there are two author events I want to try to go to which should be loads of fun. And to top it all off, I'm starting some intensive training at work this week! Gah! My job has changed and I'm sort of reinventing it and need to learn about things I've been ignoring for the past 4 years...I'm pretty much praying for brilliant ideas! (Meanwhile if anyone is hiring in any book related jobs, let me know! I'm willing to relocate)

I started the Maze Runner this weekend because I needed a read that would captivate and it's pretty danged good. I hope to finish today. Also planning to go see Tyler Perry's new movie which is an opening weekend tradition with my mom.

So all in all, some busy but fun days ahead! Are you participating in BBAW this week? What are you most looking forward to?

This is going to be a crazy week for you! =/ I'm really excited for BBAW. I'm planning on getting my dissertation off to the binders on Wednesday morning so the rest of the week is going to be just BBAW all over. Yay!

The Maze Runner is up very close to next. I'm glad you are enjoying it!

This definitely is going to be a crazy, crazy week. I'm so, so excited, though. Most of my hopping is going to have to be at night. I can see that work is going to be crazy this week. BOO! I hear you about getting a book related job. I would just love it.

I'm really excited about the blog talk radio show. If it's before the kids hit the sack, I'll be sure to listen to it afterwards. Good luck!

Wow, you've got one busy week ahead of you!

I'm really looking forward to bouncing around to everyone's blogs next week. The daily topics should be fun to look through, and I can't wait to see all the different ways everyone celebrates book blogging.

I can't believe you didn't take the week off! My favorite part of BBAW is the blogger interviews! I'm so nosy, I love reading them!

Have you scheduled any time for sleep?! :p

I'm most looking forward to the interviews. I had so much fun finding out more about Nymeth, and can imagine they are all just as interesting. My family actually planned a vacation before I knew about BBAW, so Wednesday through Sunday I will be out of town. I told my husband the laptop must come with us! I've pre-posted everything...I'm ready to rock!

Counting down the hours ... so very excited! As the organizer of BBAW, will you write me a "Melissa can't come into work this week because she is tied up with BBAW" note? :)

Of course I'm participating! And as much as I dread it, I am looking forward to exploding my feed reader. :-) I'm already finding new and wonderful blogs!

I'm very excited that this year I will be participating in my very first BBAW. So far, it has been fun, and I wish I could do more to participate but time is not something I have much of - it also happens to be the week before school starts for me so I'm doing a lot. I have a lot of work to do in the halls before residents move in plus I'm trying to prepare myself for the beginning of another quarter of classes.

I would love to have a book-related job when I graduate. I'm an English major and it's my dream to work in publishing, writing, book selling, ect. But I feel like all my job experience tends to be elsewhere. Any advice?
