Nerds Heart YA Book Tournament Decision

Once again, I had a lot of fun being a part of this judging. I enjoyed both books I read, but I have to admit that one is a clear winner in my head, and I'm sure that if you read both of my reviews you've already guessed which one.

About Feathered, I said, "Overall, Feathered is a nice little novel. It took me less than two hours to read, but it was enjoyable. I never felt that I connected fully with the characters, but it was still a good read, with some moments of real truth."

About Stop Me if You've Heard This One Before, I said "Things move along at a brisk pace and while you may be able to guess a few of the things that will happen, this is ultimately just an incredibly satisfying and fun read."

Stop Me if You've Heard This One Before b David Yoo

Ultimately, I chose Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before because it was just such an enjoyable read, and in fact, one of the most enjoyable reads I've had in awhile.
Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before by David Yoo will be advancing to be judged against My Most Excellent Year.

Nicole will have the pleasure of reading both of these books and making the decision. Good luck, Nicole!

I have both books on my TBR list. I was looking to see where this contest was going! I need to keep up better. Is there a hosting blog that we can check in on?

Yessss! I haven't read Feathered so I can't compare, but I'm so glad to see Stop Me move on to the next round. To my mind it's the clear winner over My Most Excellent Year, but so many people love that one to pieces. Wonder which Nicole will pick? The suspense builds!
