I generally go see Tyler Perry's movies opening weekend, because they are just so much fun. I've enjoyed them all, but definitely some more than others. The Family that Preys might be my favorite one yet!
What's so great about his films is that they are laced with humor, view faith positively, and always for some reason make me cry. :)
The audience is always fully engaged as well, and difficult life situations are dealt with humor and love.
I love these movies! They may not be profound works of art, but they are positive, enjoyable, and hopeful...and sometimes that's just what I need. Enthusiastically recommended.

Amy, I'm a johnny-come-lately fan of Tyler Perrry's...and I really like his movies...couldn't make the latest one on opening night but I hope to get there this weekend...thanks for the tip and the love shown for Tyler Perry...it's good to see that we enjoy some of the same movies.
