We've been doing a great job talking about books, but what about blogging? It's half of what we do. What better way to show our appreciation than to share our very best tips.
So, today, I ask you to answer two questions in any way you please...
What is one thing you wish you knew about blogging when you started or what advice would you give a newbie blogger?
What is your best blogging tip?
I hope a lot of you participate, because I can't wait to see what you have to say. I'm always looking for more tips. As usual, please please leave a link to your specific post and not your general URL. And link back to this specific post. There may be a surprise giveaway for participants. ;)

As a wet-behind-the-ears book blogger (just started a few months ago), I've learned:
ReplyDeleteDon't fret or obsess about how often you post or how many readers you have (or more likely, don't have) - blog because you are frickin' obsessed with books!
Oh, and - only post before or after work, or on a break! So I'll be posting on this subject during my morning break at http://evasbookaddiction.blogspot.com
Here's where I offer tips that make it sound like I know what I'm doing. (Haha, I've fooled you all!)

I've posted this activity and my answers to the questions. Thank you so much for this great idea. Being a newbie to the blogging community everyones responses are a huge help. Just need to find the time to sit down and read all the advice and tips. Thanks again! awalworth19(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteYou can find my advice here.
ReplyDeleteGreat questions, Amy! My response is here!
ReplyDeleteI'm late, but my resposne is here.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had power this week, so I'm really late. But this is yet another great way to get acquainted with all the many book blogs I haven't yet read.
ReplyDeleteMy tip is visit other blogs that deal with your topic and feature links to appropriate posts. Then contact the blogger and let them know. Most bloggers will visit your blog and reciprocate expanding readers exponentially.
