Top 3 of All Time: Comfort Movies

What are your top 3 comfort movies? You know, the ones you've watched a million times that you like to watch when you're down or sick, or want to feel cozy and happy?

My top 3 Comfort Movies:
1) French Kiss. Already explained this one. Seen it a million times. Definitely a comfort movie.

2) Little Women. The Winona Ryder version. I adore this movie and have seen it so many times, yet I still cry every time Beth dies, and Amy falls through the ice, and Jo rejects Laurie, and the professor comes with her manuscript...ok, fine I pretty much cry through the whole thing. But come on...it's such a wonderful story! And who didn't want to be a March sister? (I was named after Amy!)

3) Anne of Green Gables. You knew this was coming! This one is so wonderful b/c how in the world can you not love Anne? She reminds us how each day is fresh with no mistakes in it. I suddenly feel a huge urge to watch this. LOVE IT.

Tell me yours!

I love "little women" also.

I also love "steel magnolias," "fried green tomatoes" for the tear jerkers and for a good laugh, "waiting for guffman."

Little Women is a great comfort movie (both the old and Christian Bale version). Mine would have to be Say Anything. That movie always makes me happy to be alive, even when Lloyd is in the dumps.

I agree Anne of Green Gable is one of my favorite comfort movies...as well as

Sweet Home Alabama (just a plain fun movie) and Down Argentine Way (an old classic that I love!)

What a fun question :o)

Anne of Green Gables - I recited The Highwayman in a speech contest because of Anne.

Also Dirty Dancing, because nobody puts Baby in a corner.
