I've heard nothing but really good things about Deanne Gist. I found out this was the second book, and I'm a bit freakish...I really like to read series in order if possible. So a review for both books will be coming at a later date. But take a look at the book description and check it out for yourself!

I read them in order too. I think the second one's better. They both have some major plot twists, but in the first one they are more jarring. In the second one they fit better.
Good books though and fairly quick reads.
I'm reading Clearing in the Wild by Kirkpatrick right now and it's not what I expected at all from reading the "blurb" on the back. Slower reading, but definitely more thought provoking. Have you read it?
