I vote with the Book Lady, take a break to read what you want (or it will be calling you and interrupting your other reading), then get back to review books.

I haven't read the *Twilight* books yet, but from observing my daughter and her friends, I understand the draw!Dawn @ sheIsTooFondOfBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09285873722005594325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-47677090621149987752008-10-20T10:19:00.000-07:002008-10-20T10:19:00.000-07:00I have a solution for ya. I can then enjoy them eventually. That way you can do your promised reviews in a timely fashion. Outta sight, outta mind! Just don't ask for your pleasure reads back anytime soon because it takes me forever to get thru a book. I am a slow reader!
How's that for a solution? HA! It sounded pretty good to me! :)Jackie B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16125065614086555496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-50070429803207281432008-10-20T05:49:00.000-07:002008-10-20T05:49:00.000-07:00You could do like we're doing at The Well Read Chi...You could do like we're doing at The Well Read Child, ask for guest reviewers. Jill puts out a list of books, we choose 2-3, she mails them, we send a review to her, and then she posts and we cross post. I too am in the Twilight series...read New Moon and Eclipse for the Read-a-Thon and am 250 pgs into Breaking Dawn. Sure, they'd like them sooner rather than later, but later is better than never.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-50081529336299967342008-10-20T04:28:00.000-07:002008-10-20T04:28:00.000-07:00I am in the same situation, and have been for a co...I am in the same situation, and have been for a couple of months. I've all but stopped accepting ARCs. I used to accept anything that I thought I would like and things I would like to try. Now, I simply have to be interested in the book to begin with. I have so many of my own personal books that I want to read. Will there come a time when I'm looking for an ARC and not have one? I can only hope. :) I'm not going to let them pile up like they are again, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-84399049879068205192008-10-19T19:32:00.000-07:002008-10-19T19:32:00.000-07:00My mantra is that reading and blogging are a refug...My mantra is that reading and blogging are a refuge and hobby and should be fun, not work. I vote for pulling a book off the personal TBRs to satisfy your craving, then try going back to the ARCs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-59064339295948327172008-10-19T19:19:00.000-07:002008-10-19T19:19:00.000-07:00It doesn't take too long to go through the rest of...It doesn't take too long to go through the rest of the Twilight series.
