I like the convenience of books by mail so much I haven't been to the library in quite awhile!Kristahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04030109870736499425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-13140962667295158712010-01-02T21:55:19.703-08:002010-01-02T21:55:19.703-08:00Hi Amy! Here's my link: http://wovenbywords.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-simply-remember-my-favorite.html

I would also be happy to participate in any Roundtable discussions or suggest books. I think we read mostly the same Christian Fiction! :)

Happy Twenty-Ten...Mimi @ Woven by WordsMimi Nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16860967608697974293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-37356261394990375432010-01-02T10:14:13.710-08:002010-01-02T10:14:13.710-08:00Here is my list of favorites I read in 2009. So I'm leery, but still looking. I understand that books don't have to be "Christian" to inspire one to lead a Christian life. (C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, etc).
I hope this doesn't make me sound flaky, but so far the novelist that has most inspired me to life "right" has been Grace Livingston Hill. Her plots are predictable and romance-driven, but her heroine always chooses well. I read her "The Enchanted Barn" in 2008, and while it wasn't once of my favorites, it still had the same charisma for me.
