The Change and Cherish series by Jane Kirkpatrick + Giveaway

I usually think that I don't like historical fiction, but it's not true. I do, I just am a bit picky about it. I really enjoy the kind of historical fiction in this book, imagining the story behind the facts..in other words, based on a true story.

I am still in the first book, but I am loving it. I am so completely fascinated by this whole facet of history that I didn't know about before. Additionally, Jane Kirkpatrick is a very gifted writer, her turn of phrase is gorgeous and her characters are so well drawn that I already have very strong feelings about them. I just can't wait to finish devouring this series!

Let me share the synopsis of each book with you. When I am finished reading, I definitely want to revisit some things in these books on the blog so we can have a good ole discussion. This is truly fascinating stuff.
