I think I've mentioned this before, as you panic over crikets, but Abilene (where I grew up) every year has a period where is is thick with crikets. Literally, you cannot walk without stepping on a criket - live or dead. FYI, just in case you're ever in that part of Texas, check the insect report.
Ummm. . . . as you know, that is NOTHING compared to the ones they have down here! : ) : ) : ) Be thankful you are not dealing with the monster grasshoppers we have!!!! (One was crawling on my windshield the other day as I was driving over to get Emily - talk about distracting!!!)

ReplyDeleteAs a kid, when we ran out of luck finding night crawlers for fishing we would get us some nice big crickets.
