I liked the idea of the wild things being WILD - these slightly whingy, depressed, domesticated wild things made me sad. We have just been so insanely busy. I'm thinking we will go during Thanksgiving Week. In EW last week, there was an article that people are actually FIGHTING over the movie, there are such differing heartfelt views of the thing.(?!)<br /><br />I'm so glad you got out of the slump. Slumps stink, but they happen. I am in a review-writing slump. I've got a two week buffer, so I have time, but I'm kinda wishing for a rainy day when I can just sit and pound them out.<br /><br />As a family, we have been watching that 6 hour miniseries from the 70's called Jesus of Nazareth. It has been awhile since I've seen it, but every time I do, it blows me away. <br /><br />I've got an ARC to read, then I think I am going to have a Shelf Discovery Challenge Read-a-thon. Just lots and lots of Judy Blume, V.C. Andrews, all those wonderful childhood books. I can't wait.
