Andrew sings, "‘Cause I’ve carried my cross into dens of the wicked, and you know I blended in just fine," and when he follows that line by singing hope-filled lyrics, I believe him.Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15874852111977130946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-42863125906437009082009-02-09T23:30:00.000-08:002009-02-09T23:30:00.000-08:00Stephen, that's cool and I think hope is one of th...Stephen, that's cool and I think hope is one of the things I love about the music too...and not the sort of superficial hope I sometimes get from other Christian-y things, but a deep abiding hope. A couple weeks later, he told me, "When I'm having a bad day, or feel like I can't believe anymore, I listen to AP, and it gives me hope." Exactly. It's hard to put into words what listening to Andrew's music does for me, but that is certainly one thing - it gives me hope. I'm glad for friends who understand that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-22210926345356423902009-02-09T13:10:00.000-08:002009-02-09T13:10:00.000-08:00No need to include me in the drawing since I own t...No need to include me in the drawing since I own this CD already but artists that really touch me are AP, JJ Heller, Indelible Grace, and Sara Groves.

Favorite writers are Michael Horton, R.C. Shaun Groves, Ginny Owens, and Rich Mullins. I was so lucky that I had the chance to see Rich Mullins before he passed away because of an auto accident.

ThomasThomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16161782167121112058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-24259422576717604022009-02-08T18:40:00.000-08:002009-02-08T18:40:00.000-08:00I am so jealous that you got to see Andrew Peterso...I am so jealous that you got to see Andrew Peterson in concert. I just wish that one of his concerts was even remotely close to where I live. There is no need to put me in the drawing since I already have this cd.

Oh by the way. On the radio the other day there was a discussion on where people buy their books. (like an hour away) But in all fairness, I turned down a friend recently that wanted me to go see some Mexican gang band or something. The fastest thing I learned about being single in my twenties was that if I want to do something I should go ahead and plan to do it and if others want to come...well great. :)

Euphrony...I really love Jason Gray and Sara Groves as well. We take our loved one and or the one we care about and or show apprection for and or show we are interested. We do that by having a special occasion with the women that we almost always would not enjoy but know she would for one of her special days. Valentines day that is what its all about spending time with our women so we can be with her even if it would be something we would never choose to do. That would include a good drive and to a Andrew Peterson concert for the night.
KHAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11303971.post-59121117449724811692009-02-08T06:57:00.000-08:002009-02-08T06:57:00.000-08:00Great post!
